Who We Are

Tommy Högström and Marcus Jörgensen, the dynamic duo behind Endurion Capital, have a partnership that began in 2009 through mutual friends and outbound sales competitions. This early collaboration forged a relationship built on trust and a shared passion for tech and entrepreneurship. Fast forward to 2020, during Marcus's MBA at London Business School and M.I.T. Sloan, the idea of acquiring and growing a tech company together came to life, merging their combined expertise in tech and business. By early 2024, Endurion Capital was officially established, with Tommy and Marcus fully committed to finding, acquiring, and growing a business for the long term.

At Endurion Capital, Marcus leverages his strategic and commercial background from McKinsey & Company, Procter & Gamble (P&G) and his VC-funded tech startup, while Tommy brings a strong tech and business perspective, having been a Product Lead at Spotify in New York, also having founded and led the AI/tech consultancy and software firm Applai.

With backing from a group of 20+ experienced tech investors, Tommy's tech and product development skills combined with Marcus's strategic insights create a formidable team, ready to navigate and grow businesses in the US tech landscape.

Tommy Högström

Tommy is a tech innovator and strategic leader with a decade of experience in AI, software, and IT. His expertise spans from pioneering AI development at Spotify to founding and leading his own AI-focused advisory startup.

Before co-founding Endurion Capital, Tommy was the driving force behind several key tech innovations as Product Lead at Spotify in New York. He spearheaded the development of cutting-edge software and data science products, impacting 500 million users and contributing to Spotify's profitability surge in 2023. Tommy's strategic vision included crafting multi-year product roadmaps and managing eight specialized tech teams to build solutions like a full-stack Metrics Monitoring Platform. This platform revolutionized data-driven decision-making and enhanced music recommendations, balancing user engagement with financial growth. He also developed machine learning forecasting tools that shaped Spotify's investment strategies, also reported to Wall Street.

Before his Spotify tenure, Tommy was the founder and CEO of Applai, an AI software and advisory firm. Under his leadership, Applai grew into a profitable enterprise with a network of 40 machine learning and software engineering specialists. Tommy secured high-profile clients such as McDonald's, H&M, and Spotify, proving his knack for attracting top-tier clients. His notable achievements include developing an AI-powered recommendation engine that boosted SME retailer sales conversions by 25%. Applai's success culminated in its acquisition by Accigo, a Swedish tech management consultancy and Tommy's former employer.

Tommy's journey also includes a stint as a tech management consultant at Accigo, where he led digital transformations for major enterprises. Tommy also serves as an advisor for various tech startups leading enterprise boards on AI-driven customer excellence.

Marcus Jörgensen

An uncommon blend, Marcus is an experienced tech entrepreneur and corporate strategist. He has thrived in high-speed startups, perfected his strategic skills at McKinsey, and learned large-scale processes at P&G.

Before Endurion Capital, Marcus was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company and a core member of their Private Equity and Principal Investor (PEPI) practice. In this role, Marcus crafted strategies for investment firms and traditional businesses. He led a team to design the entire strategy for a new $300mn VC fund and assisted a family office with over $1bn in assets in identifying automation investment themes. He created a digital M&A playbook for a large-cap private equity firm and led the 5-year strategy design for a B2B services company with +$500m revenues. In addition, he led numerous M&A and market assessment projects across diverse sectors, including technology (e.g., software, e-commerce, data centers), B2B services, GreenTech, and industrials.

Before joining McKinsey, Marcus gained valuable experience as a tech entrepreneur and Brand Manager at P&G. At P&G, he led successful data-driven marketing initiatives and managed a multi-million marketing budget for Pampers, driving significant value creation. As co-founder and deputy-CEO of Earn'd it, a VC-funded tech startup with 10 employees, Marcus oversaw the company's product, tech, and marketing team to enable clients such as Coca-Cola, Unilever, and Nestlé.

Academically, Marcus holds an MBA with Distinction from London Business School and M.I.T. Sloan School of Management.

Outside of work, Marcus enjoys traveling, skiing, exploring new cuisines, and playing strategic board games.
